with it being summer and the AC being on i’m finding it really difficult to heat my snake’s tank. I have a heat lamp and a heating mat that I turn on/off periodically since it can get very hot. So this job is an Accounts Receivable Specialist, I should start by saying I dont know where it came from but I sent my resume to a lot of recruitment agencies so it may come from there, they sent me an email saying I was considered for this position, after replying they sent me a Job Description file where everything looked pretty standard, called me a few days later (canadian number but sounding indian) and sent me a contract for 14 days training where it looks pretty standard but I dont know too much about contracts to see if it's actually good

I’m looking for advice from those who’ve watched others’ kids alongside their own for some income. Especially if they were babies. I’ve seen it suggested on here a lot, but I haven’t really seen anyone go into detail about how it works. (If there’s already a recent post like this that I’ve missed, please link!)
I have been talking to my friend about watching her son when she goes back to work in August. By then, he will be 3 months old and my daughter will be 14 months old. It will be for 4 days/week minus holidays and breaks for the school year (her job is at a school).
I’m most curious about how to approach pay. How do I decide how much to ask for? I want to give them a good deal that’s cheaper than other alternatives, but reasonably, of course.
Should I charge by the day? Week? Hour?
Also what are the pros and cons of going through the legal channels versus getting paid under the table? I assume they’ll want to get their tax deduction, but I’m curious if that’s the only factor. How should I keep track of the income and handle taxes if we go that route? An app? Should I use something like Care.com or do they take too much of a percentage to be useful in this case?
To be clear, we haven’t yet discussed these logistics, so I don’t know what they have in mind, I’m just contemplating for now.
Any other advice? I imagine I’ll go to their apartment, at least at first. I’m not sure if I should ask for a car seat base or just stay within the walkable area, etc. I know I can cross those bridges when I come to them, but if you have any pertinent experience or thoughts while you’re here, I’m happy to hear it.
My friend has already insisted that it’s no big deal if I change my mind at any point, and we both have pretty chill demeanors, so I’m not too worried about potential negative effects on our relationship, though obviously this arrangement will change the dynamic. 4)Drawing; Notification of Winners

16) Governing Law
These Official Rules, and any action related thereto, will be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act, federal arbitration law and the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict of laws provisions. Except as otherwise expressly set forth in Section 15 “Dispute Resolution and Arbitration” the exclusive jurisdiction for all Disputes (defined below) that you and ZAM are not required to arbitrate will be the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California and you and ZAM each waive any objection to jurisdiction and venue in such courts.
17) Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
a) Mandatory Arbitration of Disputes. We each agree that any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Official Rules or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation or validity thereof or participation in the Sweepstakes (collectively, “Disputes”) will be resolved solely by binding, individual arbitration and not in a class, representative or consolidated action or proceeding. You and ZAM agree that the U.S. Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of these Official Rules, and that you and ZAM are each waiving the right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action. This arbitration provision shall survive termination of these Official Rules.
b) Exceptions. As limited exceptions to Section 15(a) above: (i) we both may seek to resolve a Dispute in small claims court if it qualifies; and (ii) we each retain the right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief from a court to prevent (or enjoin) the infringement or misappropriation of our intellectual property rights.
c) Conducting Arbitration and Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (the “AAA Rules”) then in effect, except as modified by these Official Rules. The AAA Rules are available at www.adr.org or by calling 1-800-778-7879. A party who wishes to start arbitration must submit a written Demand for Arbitration to AAA and give notice to the other party as specified in the AAA Rules. The AAA provides a form Demand for Arbitration at www.adr.org. Any arbitration hearings will take place in the county (or parish) where you live, unless we both agree to a different location. The parties agree that the arbitrator shall have exclusive authority to decide all issues relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability and scope of this arbitration agreement.
d) Arbitration Costs. Payment of all filing, administration and arbitrator fees will be governed by the AAA Rules, and we won’t seek to recover the administration and arbitrator fees we are responsible for paying, unless the arbitrator finds your Dispute frivolous. If we prevail in arbitration we’ll pay all of our attorneys’ fees and costs and won’t seek to recover them from you. If you prevail in arbitration you will be entitled to an award of attorneys’ fees and expenses to the extent provided under applicable law.
e) Injunctive and Declaratory Relief. Except as provided in 13(b) above, the arbitrator shall determine all issues of liability on the merits of any claim asserted by either party and may award declaratory or injunctive relief only in favor of the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to provide relief warranted by that party’s individual claim. To the extent that you or we prevail on a claim and seek public injunctive relief (that is, injunctive relief that has the primary purpose and effect of prohibiting unlawful acts that threaten future injury to the public), the entitlement to and extent of such relief must be litigated in a civil court of competent jurisdiction and not in arbitration. The parties agree that litigation of any issues of public injunctive relief shall be stayed pending the outcome of the merits of any individual claims in arbitration.
f) Class Action Waiver. YOU AND ZAM AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. Further, if the parties’ Dispute is resolved through arbitration, the arbitrator may not consolidate another person’s claims with your claims, and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding. If this specific provision is found to be unenforceable, then the entirety of this Dispute Resolution and Arbitration section shall be null and void.
g) Severability. With the exception of any of the provisions in Section 15(f) (“Class Action Waiver”), if an arbitrator or court of competent jurisdiction decides that any part of these Official Rules is invalid or unenforceable, the other parts of these Official Rules will still apply.
18) Languages. These Official Rules may be made in multiple language versions. In the event of a dispute as to the terms of different language versions, the English version shall prevail.
19) Country Specific Notices.
20) If any provision of these Official Rules is invalid under the law, rules, or regulations of a particular country, it will only apply to the extent permitted.
21) No Affiliation with Social Media Channels.

The wedding is in Chicago and we live in the suburbs, but because there are three days worth of events, we're getting a hotel room rather than make a 90-minute round trip three in a row. And because everyone we would normally trust to watch our cat is going to be at the wedding, we got a pet-friendly hotel room.
I'm not too worried about the car ride. It's only 30-45 minutes, and he's done that before. But I am concerned about making sure he's comfortable in the hotel room, and the logistics of changing a disposable litter box, that sort of thing.

I’m assuming this is saying 5-7 ratio on days and nights. New to traveling and curious if these ratios are accurate for WA hospitals? I’m a RN in FL where we get treated poorly but our max is 1:6 on days.
Any thoughts on this assignment?

I'm a Reddit lurker for years but I felt this deserved a 1st post.
Get unknown USB device (device description request failed), randomly. Make an annoying ding every time. does it with nothing plugged in to USB. Does it randomly sometimes every few seconds other time 10 min apart. Extremely annoying. Only thing ever plugged into this computer was the mouse and keyboard it came with.
CP support says reinstall windows when I try that it says this computer is not capable of running windows 11. Other than that, there is nothing they can do.
This computer is 16 days old and since I bought it at Best Buy more than 14 days ago can not exchange. Since bought at retailer nothing CP will do.
What happened? I bought a CP computer 20odd years ago and support was top notch and computers even better.
I ask what would you do if you dumped a bunch of money on a CP and was a lemon?

I'm working on streamlining our new hire process to ensure that all new staff are registered for MFA/SSPR as soon as possible. I understand the legacy methods for this allowed for a 14 day grace period, as did Security Defaults. I plan to use Conditional Access only, but does CA allow for a grace period or will it be required the first time they log into any app (assuming the CA policy is 'Require MFA for all Cloud Apps')?
Using CA simply because I need an exclusion list for Service Accounts, etc. and it seems cleaner to just have one policy that applies to everyone, but excludes a small subset.

If CA has no grace period I suppose the only other option would be to have the Conditional Access Policy apply to a specific group, and then move the new staff into that group manually after ~14 days. Seems like a lot of manual intervention that way.
Is there a better way to automate new hire onboarding for MFA/SSPR?

Almost 30. Depressed for more than half my life. Suicidal for 16. Special ed. Groomed. Psychward @14 bad vibe from psychiatrist and convinced him I'm all better. Family happy. Many minor head injuries.

Forgotten trauma of a specific day resurfaced in my mid 20s. Ptsd and ptsd. Blood is thicker than water pisses me off. But they're family infuriates me. I'm not a saint. Still dealing with the triggers.
Agoraphobic for years worse since covid but one of the best family time. Unemployed. Parents getting old. Feel guilty for asking help for essentials so I don't. Skin and oral hygiene bad m. Gained weight. Learned boundaries with family. Apply T. H. I. N. K to my life if I can.
Apparently I had/have a spirit attachment. To me or my aura for years I don't know what the correct translation is. Prevents men from getting close. Wanted me to himself. Isolating me from others. Parent would go for fun while in Asia to get a general reading only to be told about me unprompted. Different years and countries tell her similar. Didn't know this was going on until this year. I unknowingly wore a string bracelet given to me. Has since broken. I want to believe it. Maybe I'm not mentally ill. If I'm not "saved" by the reader it well enter my body and won't wake up again claims a parent. Threatening me with a good time?
Debt free. Treat loved ones. Date and travel. Save up a euthanasia plan or pre pay my funeral and other funds. Don't know if I want a funeral. But this gives me room to kill myself at impulse in a hotel or something. Have an email ready to send the front desk to call the police. Good enough condition for loved ones to view me one last time. Ideals, that's nice.
My parents must live long. Good or bad I am leaving. I cannot see beyond 5 years. Must be a mental block. I feel like a burden. This is my longest and sneakiest relapse. This time I don't see hope our digging myself out.

So I have a couple Ideas on how to increase Overworld difficulty without: - having to incrase the file size that much or requiring huge Code changes - reducing the accsessability for casual players
Pls note that my number increases are only suggestions

1. Adding a new Worldlevel. This would be a basline increase just like the previous Worldlevel increases, and pogramming wise be mostly a number change. WL 9 is accuired like bevor, after completing a Ascention Quest. In this Case it would be Ascension Quest 5. It could raise the min. and max. lvl by 10 across the board including domains and weekly Bosses
   
2. Adding something like a Blood Moon as new feature. This would be a Worldevent that could be indtroduced at WL 8 or WL 4 with scaling increases after Ascention quests (AscQ). The Blood Moon appears in fixed intervalls that also shorten after Ascension quests. It spawns at the beginning of a Night (19:01) and stays until the Night ends (05:59). During the Event all overworld enemies are buffed, have higher Droprates and drop more Mora It could also increase the rewards from Normal Bosses and Leylines How the Effects an intervalls could look like: -All enemies have more HP and do more Damage WL 4-5: +50%HP and +25%Dmg WL 6 : +100%HP and +50%Dmg WL 7-8: +150%HP and +75% Dmg WL 9 : +200%HP and +100%Dmg -Enemy droprate and are x2 or x3 -Intervalls after completing AscQ: AscQ 2. Every 28 ingame Days AscQ 4. Every 14 ingame Days AscQ 5. Ervery 7 ingame Days (WL= Worldlevel; AscQ= Ascension Quest)

Grading. Grades are approximated and used to price point the coin. If you see something on a coin that you believe alters the grade, send a chat and, let's discuss it. In previous posts, I have had absolutely NO extra space to get wordy as you get cut off at like 40,000 some such characters. With the spreadsheet links, I can now get into more details about a coin, but not Im going to retroactively adjust descriptions.
Details, cleaned or polished means this coin will not likely grade and refers to the most obvious examples. That does not mean that one that is not designated as such will grade. I do not consider a dipped coin a details designation. Cleaned to me means there are cleaning lines, and often in the eyes of a grading company it is a matter of degree. Most mid-1800s proof coins have cleaning lines that are straight-graded. Typically I do not designate a coin with modest cleaning lines as cleaned or other minor detractors that MAY hold back a straight grade but instead, place a lower price on it. Many of these raw coins will not straight grade. Again, Im only going to call out the obvious examples, and we can discuss any coin you need more info on to make a decision. If you are planning on submitting your coin, please ask if I think the coin will grade. Early copper for instance is notorious for environmental damage yet the coin is still attractive for the type set collector. Again if you are planning on getting a coin graded or even just want more confidence about it, let's review the coin under a microscope and even UV light, etc, video.
I use "Making the Grade" Third edition to estimate grades. I also use the narrow definition of Scott travers when calling a coin uncirculated (no breaking in luster on the high points). Often, I have a coin slabbed in my PC that serves as a comparison. BU to me means a very choice example of an uncirculated. MS62-MS66. IF YOU ARE NOT happy with your purchase SAY SO. Don't be shy. Just moved back to my parents' and I'm trying to help them improve their home network and WiFi setup. They live in a rural location with only 2 shitty ISPs available. I checked Starlink, and that's not available in our area.
What we have:
- DSL - ~ 7.5 Mbps download, 0.14 Mbps upload, per a quick speed test - ~ 11 devices in total that connect to the Internet (maybe a couple other devices I'm missing): • 3 laptops • 3 phones • 3 TVs • 1 desktop • 1 iPad
5-7 being used at a time at least during the day, and even that's hard to get going effectively.
Problem:
Not enough bandwidth / connectivity / reception. My dad and I work remote. My mom does not work remote, but she c o n s t a n t l y browses Facebook or plays games on her iPad all day long. My dad and I are on Teams calls, but he has better luck due to being one wall away from the router / modem. I'm 4 walls away, so I have to go elsewhere for calls, launch RDP sessions, or just general connectivity.
What we need:
This is where you come in. Not sure if we need a WiFi extender? Wireless access points (WAPs)? Both? None of that, and something else? A different / better router instead of the company's?
Networking isn't my forte, but I'm learning, so I apologize if I can't or poorly answer questions. Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated.
