I've created a StreamCompanion plugin which provides more detailed rich presence for osu! Stable, Cutting Edge, and Beta release streams called RPCCompanion. Installation is as simple as downloading the latest release and unpacking it in your StreamCompanion "Plugins" folder.

Today I picked up a PAX on Uber who claimed to be an ex-employee for Lyft. We started talking and he asked why I didn’t drive for Lyft much anymore. I told him mainly it’s because they’ll give me a ride but then change it to another PAX when I’m in the middle of driving to pick them up.
He told me those are dummy rides. The first PAX doesn’t exist.
So essentially you’ll get a decent offer for a ride, on your way they’ll switch it to someone else who is real and in the general area. That is because if a real PAX requests a ride and drivers keep declining it the system will create a PAX that is a good and decent offer which would prompt a driver to accept it. Then when the driver starts heading to that fake pax the system will automatically give you the real pax who is closer but the pay per mile is not nearly as good.
I asked how would we know if they’re real or not. He said try calling or texting the pax after you accept, if you text they’ll never respond and if you call the number it will be disconnected. They’re not real.
Now I don’t know how accurate his claim is but he seemed genuine and he knew exactly how the system worked and why. He said he left the company because it’s going under and he got a better job. He predicted they will either be sold or go out of business in less than five years.
Either way, the dummy PAX if true is bullshit and I wouldn’t put it past the company to pull shady shit like that on us.

It seems one would most definitely need a pet/companion that is fire resistant or, at the very least, regenerates quickly. Maybe you could even utilize a corruption trap? Or, are Orb Guardians healed by corruption?
My options seem limited right now. Tried using a Scroll of Familiar Summoning on DH:1 in hopes of getting an Emperor Lich or better and got a stupid WMoPC. Otherwise, SoFS have, of course, been exceedingly rare. I usually find at least 10 by the point of the game where I am at.
I did potion of exchange for a RoDS on DH:2. Seems it may be appropriate to wish for "scrolls of familiar summoning" and then read it on DH:2 in hopes of getting a Greater Earth Elemental, no? Can they can withstand ToEF if leveled? Was thinking of hitting the Guardian with some dragon slaying arrows and then let the Elemental finish the job.
I am past the 90 day mark and nearing 200,000 turns. I've saved Khelevastar and made my way down to the flaming stairs. I've done all of the dungeons except the Crumbling and TotHK. Time is becoming crucial. Which is why I am thinking burning a wish on SoFS is an OK move here. I am, however, on my way to TotHK. I am going to camp a bit on the cavernous levels to see what treasure generates.
I either have enough fire resistance to not worry about fire damage for ToEF or Nature's Companion (I just found it) to mess around in there if I need to. I found, and have been using, a robe of purity which has been essential in keeping my corruptions at 0 thus far. My PV and DV are high enough to where basically nothing has been able to touch me, so the low PV of the robe has been fine.
Are there any other options?

I have gained weight due to a health problem that I have and I also stopped exercising at home, my girlfriend recommended me to run in a park near my house, I live in a quiet area (I thought so until now) because I have always gone out with my cell phone and headphones and the police always go by with their lights on, that gave me security. And I decided to go from Sunday, I go to that park at 6:00 p.m. and apparently I'm the only one running, everyone else is walking their dogs and, well, seeing a lot of people calmed me down. I carry my cell phone and my house key, I use the cell phone to measure the kilometers I run and the calories, and when I run I have the cell phone in my hand all the time because with the shorts I wear I keep it my pocket moves so much. That is what I have done all these days, until today I decided to use wired headphones, when I finished running I was resting in a corner of the park (today there were few people) and I was writing to my brother and out of nowhere I saw 3 boys approaching a street, one with a cap, heading towards me, I ignored them, but they passed very close to me looking at my cell phone, and they whispered among themselves and with one of them they looked at us, and they continued on their way, I decided to walk away and think what to do because they surrounded the park and they kept looking at me, I went as fast as I could to my house and in my country these people tend to spread the word and send other people in vehicles to follow me, I called the police in my neighborhood so that go to that park to watch, thank God I got home safe and sound, but very nervous with a lump in my throat, and I am afraid of going back and they want to rob me again, because I have the feeling that someone who lives for there or does your business have seen that I am alone and saw my cell phone and informed those people to rob me (those people were foreigners and there is a foreign business nearby), what should you do? go to another park? no longer go running? It was my fault?

It’s been nearly 8 years since my parents divorced. Honestly, I am still so affected by it and still cry so much. I am a fully functioning adult who acts happy to others. When I’m alone, I look at old family pictures/ my parents wedding album and just wail and yearn for my previous life when my family was together and normal. 💔 I had a dream last night that my parents got back together and felt so much peace and happiness again. I woke up and felt so upset that it was only a dream. 💔
I never wanted them to get divorced and it was my GREATEST FEAR as a young child. I love my family more than anything and life was perfect (even when it wasn’t) when it was just the four of us (me, mom, dad, and my brother). My parents got divorced in 2015 (the year after I graduated high school). My life was fucking destroyed in 2015. Everything that I once knew came crashing down and my family was torn apart.
Life got so messy with mom moving on with a new guy who lived in another country (she did LOTS of flying back and forth for months at a time) then my dad remarried 3 years later. I barely remember anything from 2015 because it was such a traumatic time in my life. It was honestly the worst thing that ever happened to me because it made me feel such a loss of identity that I’ve struggled with ever since. I’ve experienced death of pets and family members and yet my parents divorce continues to be the most painful- I feel guilty feeling so sad all the time because I know others have it so much worse. Sometimes, the loss of my family unit feels like a death. It changed EVERYTHING for the worse. Holidays, vacations, my future wedding day…Everything.
I HATE having to share my dad with his “new family.” I absolutely hate it. I have nothing against these people at all. But the entire time I just wish I could snap my fingers and my parents would be together again and I wouldn’t feel so melancholic and utterly depressed at how broken our family is. 💔 I feel like I peaked from the ages of 0-19. Everything 20 and beyond has been a surreal and monotonous experience with my family unit being destroyed. I’ve had happy moments but still doesn’t compare to the past.
Can anyone else relate to how I feel at all? I also don’t believe “time heals all wounds”, I will honestly truthfully never move on. I act fine on the outside and pretend I’m happy for my parents but deep down I am always yearning for my original family unit and my parents being together. 💔 If you made it this far thank you so much for reading. My specs: Cpu: Ryzen 5 3600x Memory: 16gb (2666 ddr4) GPU: RX 6600 Motherboard: Asus B450m gaming Power: corsair 650w
With this setup I am able to play most games on high/ultra settings at 60fps in 1080p. Everything was fine and I was very happy.
Then, I upgraded my pc with a new m2 SSD (1TB). I installed windows on this new ssd and decided to format my pc to start things fresh. I installed Windows 11 and updated all my drivers. On this new setup, running everything lightning fast on my new ssd, life was good for 5 days. Then, 3 days ago, when I logged in to play Destiny 2 I noticed very subtle and somewhat random stutters. I'm used to playing on a solid, steady 60fps so I started to notice frequent dips to 40~45fps on random moments (in quiet places, little movements, etc). This got me very frustrated, as the day before things were super smooth (as it should be), I decided to reinstall my GPU drivers. Nothing changed. I downloaded multiple games and performance are worse on those as well. Most notably, I redownloaded Elden Ring and I can't even hit the 60fps I was used to playing in.
I disabled all optimizations options on the AMD Andrenaline app and nothing changed I tried playing the game on lower graphics and the game continues to perform badly. No matter what I do, my frames will fall to 40fps. I checked Destiny forums and there wasn't any recent updates to the game that influenced performance. I even returned my pc to a memory point before that unholy day and nothing changed.
Gpu, ssd, cpu and ram temperature looks good, nothing out of the ordinary.
What frustrates me the most is the fact that the game was performing perfectly before and I don't know what is going on, as this new setup was working just fine days ago.
I appreciate any sort of help or insight that could help me see this through. I haven't formatted this new setup yet, but I may do it if this could fix this issue. Thank you!

I am in a high conflict situation. So issues are aplenty. Here’s one.
My coparent likes to show up about 10-15 minutes early on transition day for week to week pickup. It is on the lower end of the scale of the issues in our situation but it is nonetheless another thing. We are usually finishing gathering up things and double checking that they have everything or finishing dessert or something. Luckily coparent sends a message they have arrived and we can finish up whatever we are doing in time and still send the kid out a couple minutes early.
Its an obnoxious act but not obscene. As the child ages I could see issues arising with the timeframe, or when a cellphone comes into the picture. In a normal situation this would likely be whatever. Parents either wouldn’t care or a short conversation would do. This is not a normal situation. It is an extremely toxic, conflict ridden situation. Coparent often communicates in a way that creates loyalty conflicts, alienating behaviors, lies and messy situations with other stakeholders (therapists, teachers, old friends) as well as making me an asshole at every turn for setting boundaries and following the parenting plan and holding them to it.
Asking them to stop doing this will be yet another boundary that creates more conflict. I usually just tell them they’ll be out in a bit. I have made them wait 15 minutes before because they showed up nearly 20 minutes early, kid still got out 5 minutes early. I thought maybe if I didn’t get them out there until closer to the time perhaps they would get the message. Doesn’t seem to be working.
Should I just keep documenting and let them wait or say something? Saying something will have some sort of issue but maybe I should just do it. I was told this is a common behavior of toxic coparents to show up early and create issues with kids seeing them there and such.
I have learned a lot about coparenting and still have so much to learn. So many books, podcasts and YouTube as well as therapists etc. I like this community when it is a dialogue and conversation with that in mind and would love to hear about others experiences, troubles, concerns, pitfalls, critiques and views of this Thanks.

On the 22nd March 2023 I decided to start the journey of quitting all my bad habits.
I have quit gambling, smoking tobacco, smoking weed, vaping nicotine and drinking alcohol and I am now into my fourth day.
I listed my vices in order of importance and gambling is a big big negative habit for me and ruined me in the past. Completely destroyed my ego and finances.
Smoking weed makes me a retarded monkey.
I get nothing out of tobacco except ruining my lungs.
Vapes are just a waste of money and I didn’t like being a slave to them.
Alcohol I never really had a problem with as I’m a healthy drinker who would only drink a few times a year with friends but fuck it I’ll quit that anyway.
I actually started the journey of deciding to be better nearly a decade ago but it was a long way out the jungle and I’m finally starting to see civilisation again.
I feel human for the first time since I was a child. I am 29 now and it all went wrong when I was about 13.
Started getting into working on my psyche and have been for at least 9 years now. I am very into Buddhism and mastering the mind. I want to be a monk in camouflage and I think I’m finally getting there. I’ve read over 50 psychology/self help/neuroscience/spiritual books now.
I’ve spent a very very long time being suffocated by my monkey mind. I feel like I’m starting to breathe and making that monkey my subordinate.
I was clucking for some dopamine today and decided I’d get some nicotine pouches to take off the edge. I’m not gonna quit them yet.
Any grasping to the vices I’ve quit is not me but the monkey mind in simulation. If I give into temptation my monkey mind will power over me again.

Hey there, I have a ThinkPad laptop I use daily, and had upgraded it earlier today (24.03.23) and installed a new drive.

cut the story, I dual boot the laptop with Windows 11 and Arch Linux and noticed that every time I boot into Windows, the clock resets 3 hours back from the current time (ex. from 3:57 to 0:57) that I'm in (GMT +3) after using Arch. Is there a way for me to fix it so that it won't do that?

HOPEFULLY YOU REALIZE, MAYBE THEN WE ARE NOT ACTUALLY IN A PERFECT WORLD AFTER ALL. EH? EVERYONE FACES THE WOLF. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WHEN HE IS AT YOUR DOOR, HUFFING AND PUFFING? FOR THE RECORD. SILVER BULLETS MAKE THIS BIG BAD WEREWOLF STRONGER AND HUNGRIER. FOR ANYONE WHO SAID THEY WOULD GRAB A GUN WHEN THE WOLF COMES. THE WOLF HAS GOONS. WATCHING FROM THE HILLSIDE THE WOLF'S GOONS ARE. IN CONJUNCTION WITH HOWLING AND FEASTIN ON PREVIOUS STOPS.

We've finally made it... at last, we're on the Last Story. All 3 hedgehogs have had their stories lead up to this. How will it all end? Well, we're about to find out! Let us begin:
Somewhere in Soleanna's forest, Mephiles manages to get his hands on the purple Chaos Emerald, one which we haven't seen throughout this game. He finds Elise and Sonic walking through the field, and using the blinding power of the gem, comes up from behind the two when they least expect it, and (yes, I'm using language here, NO SHAME)... FUCKING KILLS SONIC by launching a beam of energy straight through his chest. Distraught by this, Elise manages to cry, unsealing Iblis after all these years. With the two halves of Solaris now freed, Mephiles calls on the Chaos Emerald he has to unite them together.
Meanwhile, in Dusty Desert, Team Dark is surrounded by a puddle of dark liquid from the army of Mephiles clones they took down at the end of Shadow's story. As he picks up and puts his Inhibitor Rings back on, the green and yellow Chaos Emeralds that were resting on the ground begin to glow, and the screen cuts to black. The next cutscene dramatically plays out, with Mephiles having all 7 Chaos Emeralds surrounding him (which I have NO clue where he got the blue and red ones from), and the two halves of Solaris finally coming together. A bright flash of light engulfs the entirety of Soleanna, where Amy, Tails, and Knuckles currently are.
Now in an endless void, all of the characters are found to be together, even Silver and Dr. Eggman have somehow appeared. Trying to figure out what was going on, Shadow and the others piece together the clues that Solaris has finally been reborn, but how is that possible? They then turn to see the dead body of Sonic resting against Princess Elise, realizing that this was all part of Mephiles' plan so she'd cry, and that EVERYONE, including Dr. Eggman, were played like cards in his hand.
As Amy mourns over the loss of the beloved blue hero, the princess senses Sonic's spirit in the wind, knowing that he's not dead yet, and that there's still time. Silver then comes up with the idea that he can be revived using the Chaos Emeralds' power, believing in the princess that she can bring him back. Dr. Eggman then analyzes where the fabled gems have gone, noting that Solaris scattered them all across time, and that the crew has to split up. Firm on their resolution, the group splits up, each setting out across the void to find them before it's too late.
And now it's time for... the End of the World. This final stage brings all 7 remaining characters - Tails, Omega, Knuckles, Silver, Rouge, Amy, and Shadow - on their quest to find the Chaos Emeralds before reality is destroyed by Solaris. This massive adventure split up into 7 sections, the first being with Tails in Crisis City as he searches for the yellow Emerald. His section plays out similar to Silver's level, with one major difference that can be considered the "gimmick" of this level.
Across all 7 portions of the stage, you'll come across these holes - called the "Eyes of Solaris" - that try to suck you in or toss objects at you. I really do like this idea as I think it's like Solaris' way of stopping you as you make your way towards each of the Chaos Emeralds, and one hit INSTANTLY kills you, even if you have Rings. You can briefly make them go away by touching a statue that lights up an orb, but it isn't long before they come back again. What I DON'T like, though? Well, that's coming up in a bit.
After Tails gets the yellow Emerald, the perspective switches to Omega, who's located in Flame Core as he's searching for the green Emerald. Again, it's mostly the same as before, and I believe you're in... I wanna say it's probably Shadow's part of the stage, but really, I have no idea since I feel like all the characters can share the same damn level at times like with White Acropolis, so I don't know which part you're exactly playing through. Anyways, Omega's hover ability will really come in handy here, as you can use it to skip most enemies (which is DEFINITELY recommended since time is literally of the essence here to save Sonic). Make your way up the lava-fall and grab the green Chaos Emerald and get the heck outta there!
The 3rd part of the stage takes place in Rouge's and Silver's Tropical Jungle level, only this time you're controlling Knuckles. Once again, you'll want to take the same approach as you did in Tails' and Omega's sections and not worry about combat and instead trying to find the cyan Emerald that's hidden somewhere here. Use the gliding ability that Knuckles has to land on certain platforms and you can skip basically the entire section. You may have to do some climbing on walls to glide to where the Emerald is, but other than that, his section should be a breeze. Grab that gem and GO!
I should also mention that the Eyes you come across can also suck in enemies and nearby objects, which can be incredibly helpful and harmful at the same time when you're trying to make it through the stage as quickly as possible. I do like how not even Iblis' monsters themselves are not safe from the wrath of Solaris, so it's like EVERYTHING is trying to stop you from making it to the end. But they won't stop the hope to revive Sonic!
Keeping on with the stage, the 4th section has Silver navigating through Sonic's portion of Dusty Desert, using his psychokinesis and hover abilities to make his way through the treacherous landscape and find the silver Chaos Emerald. And... well, I'm just gonna say this: I didn't like this section at all. Not one bit. Why is that, you may ask? Well, it's surprisingly simple, and it's a reason that'll come up again with another character not that far down the line:
SILVER IS SO FUCKING SLOW
I swear to God, he moves at the speed of freakin' molasses, and that's not exactly helpful when you're trying to dodge those Eyes that try to suck you in and KILL YOU IN ONE HIT. It's even worse when objects come flying out of nowhere, hit and knock you back and into the things you can't even see and give you no chance of escape! There are quite a few points where I was literally saying to my TV, "COME ON, MOVE IT, SILVER!!!" because he's just moving along at a strolling pace when he should be, I don't know... running to get the gem? Ugh.
Thank God he has the Teleport Dash upgrade you can buy for him in his story, as it'll be quite helpful when trying to escape the pull of Solaris. I believe this is the only time in the game I actually found that ability to be useful for him, because I barely remember using it AT ALL in his main story other than trying it out at various places in Soleanna's hub areas. But, anyways, you get through his section like all the ones before him and the ones after him: make it to the end and avoid any enemies that come in your way, using the orb thingies to temporarily cause the Eyes of DEATH to go away. Get the silver Emerald and meet up with the others!
The 5th section sends you to Tails' portion of Wave Ocean as you glide across the waterways with Rouge in search of the purple Emerald. You can use the same strategy here that you did with Knuckles since you don't need to worry about combat and should climb the pillars, jump off, and glide on through, only really landing to activate the orbs. Compared to Silver's section, this part is actually quite a breeze, so make your way to the gem like the good treasure hunter Rouge is and now there's only 2 more left to get!
Things are getting rather chilly, as now we're in White Acropolis for the 6th portion of the stage with Amy making her way towards the blue Emerald. She's finding herself on the lower route of Rouge's and Tails' segment, and she has to use her hammer and double jumping prowess to get by. 6th verse is somehow same as the 1st, so try to get by all the enemies doing as little combat as necessary and focus on using the orbs and making your way towards the Emerald. However, there's one major problem I have with this section that also happens with Silver, and it's that just like her partner, Amy is SO UNBELIVABLY SLOW. I don't know why this is, but this really bothers me especially when I'm trying to get away from the Death Eyes which still instantly kill you. The good news is that this section is relatively short-lived, so the pain doesn't last for very long. Get that blue diamond and now it's all up to the Ultimate Lifeform!
The 7th and final section of the stage revolves around Shadow as he makes his way through the ruins of Kingdom Valley to find the red Chaos Emerald, the last of them to be found. Much like Flame Core's segment, I have no idea which character's part of the stage you're going through, because I'm mainly trying to make it to the end of the stage. Just like before, make it to the end of the stage doing as little combat as possible and use the orbs to take out the Eyes of Solaris, ride the eagle, and complete the stage as you grab the final Chaos Emerald! And... that's a wrap on the End of the World!
Wow... what a stage. I will say this about it: Even though there were a few problems I had with this stage, which included the slowness of Silver and Amy, sometimes the wonkiness of the camera causing you to get hit by things you can't even see, and getting a Game Over on ANY section - yes, even the last Shadow section, which DID happen to me - causes you to do the ENTIRE thing again starting back at Tails' Crisis City segment. But those issues didn't stop me from enjoying the stage as a whole, as I did enjoy the gimmick of traversing through nearly every stage of the game (except for Aquatic Base and Radical Train) only with Solaris hot on your trail. This is one of those levels that would indeed work had this game been given more time in the oven, because this was quite the fun trek!
With the cast reunited and all 7 Chaos Emeralds gathered, Princess Elise says a prayer, wanting to talk to Sonic and save the world once again. She then kisses Sonic (why?...), and that, with the power of the gems, revives the blue hero and transforms him into Super Sonic. He thanks Elise as he falls to her knees, and then Shadow and Silver join in and transform themselves. With the 3 super-powered hedgehogs transformed, they blast off into the sky, everybody cheering them on from below.
And here it comes... the final battle. The battle is split into 2 phases and every character is used in their own way. You start with Super Silver and use the meteors that Solaris throws at you and damage his left arm. It may not do much damage, but keep it up and it will eventually shatter. From there, switch to Super Shadow and use the Chaos abilities he has and damage the right arm in the same way. Just remember to keep moving! Once that's done, switch to Super Sonic and keep boosting into the core and Phase 1 is complete!
However... it's not over yet. The god comes back up and goes absolutely out of control as an orchestrated version of "His World" plays in the background. You need to constantly switch between all 3 hedgehogs and deal damage to his core, but it's best if you attack it while it's firing a laser at you since it exposes the weak point. Silver may unfortunately not be of much use here, so you'll want to rely on Sonic and Shadow. However, keep it up and he goes down, ENDING SOLARIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!
As the 3 hedgehogs land back in front of the other heroes, time and space is restored and we eventually see the Duke and young Elise come across the true form of Solaris. He explains that once it grows, they can eventually get control of time and that Elise can eventually see her mother again. As they walk away, the current form of the Princess and Sonic walk up to the flame and take it into their hands. She says that if they were to blow it out, the Flames of Disaster incident would have never happened and that everything would continue on, but that she would have never met Sonic. She tears up slightly saying that the truth is that she doesn't care what happens to the world, but Sonic tells her to just smile and that it'll all be okay.
With that, she does so and blows out the flame, sending everything back to the Soleanna Festival that was seen at the start of the game. Sonic can be seen running by at one point, wanting to get a view. As he speeds by, he creates a wind which Elise calls somehow familiar to her. One of the feathers from her hair floats up into the air and passes in front of the moon, which Sonic is viewing from a rooftop, and the screen fades to black, ending Sonic '06.
And that's the game. Hard to believe it all ends with it acting like it never existed in the first place, but it all ends where it all began. I don't have anything else to say other than this game surprised me more than I initially thought it would. I came into this game expecting it to be bad and what I came across was something that had tons of potential that never got to be fleshed out.
So... what do I think about this game as a whole? Honestly... I simply don't know. It might take me a bit to decide what I truly think about it all, since this game did quite a few things good and a few things bad. But all I can say is, I'm glad I can finally put this game behind me and I don't have to play this game again... unless I decide to play Project '06 in the future, that is, and I probably will... once I find a way to.
Now, I think it's time I play a LOT of Sonic Generations. I'll see you all next time with another take on a new Sonic game!!

For personal reasons I won't be disclosing age or anything too revealing. (there's a lot more to this past info I could add but I really can't think straight) I am posting this because I really don't know what to do. I don't know what I did to deserve this life. My mother allowed me to be molested as a child for her BF (call him jack), she then made it so he didn't get in trouble and I live with him to this day. (he doesn't do anything anymore, never even speaks to me unless someone else is there). I've never had friends, never been able to make or keep them. My sister (call her nani) is really horrific to me, although I can be too. I have a boyfriend of nearly three years (call him ron) but our relationship was filled with him cheating, lying, and going behind my back since the beginning. With all of this you can understand why it has been made clear why I do not feel loved or wanted in anyway. Not by family, not friends, not my boyfriend. Nothing. In middle school I tried to commit multiple times. No one ever knew besides my boyfriend. In highschool was when the attempts became serious, held some stuff to my head never had any balls to do it ya know. I just don't get it, I don't get what there is to live for. I have nothing, people alwasy say there's something better waiting, and that life is worth it, but it's not. I have a severely mentally ill mother who expects me to raise the child she had with jack, I have no freinds, not even Ron wants me. I just don't know what I have left, I've really been feeling all the pain lately, I don't know how I am supposed to grow when I am stuck in this house with that horriblr man. I just don't get why it was me. What did I do in my past life to deserve this. Why. I just feel like such a horrible person, that's why nobody wants to be my friend and why my family hates me. I just don't get it. I realliy don't. It's just like why couldn't I be loved. Why am I such a bad person, what have I done. What's the point. Why can't people just love me. Nani treats me like I am the worst person on the earth, but maybe I am, maybe I am as ugly as she says I am. Maybe I am as ungrateful as my mom says I am. Maybe I am just a burden, a sick, worthless burden. With no value, why am I here. Why do I deserve this. Why. I just don't get what I am meant to do. I don't get why I don't deserve good things. Why can't I just have friends.

I have a Xbox One S, and my only option to play this game is with game pass cloud gaming...which is bullshit. A few months ago I played a weekend or two with no problems, now it freezes up at like 10 minutes in. Is it installable if I upgrade to an xbox series x/s? I wanna get into this game, but obviously cloud gaming is not the way. Yes im upset btw, took me a few hours to get into the mood😭

Story:
I bought a pedal pros kit to convert my LHD vehicle, found a mechanic who had experience in doing the job and the only one here on the west coast I could find. I asked him how long it took him to install these kits and he quoted about 6-9 hours, but this was a verbal estimate. I budgeted $1500 for installation just in case it was even higher. I did not expect it to be any more than this amount. Mistake 1
He wanted it dropped off on Monday but unfortunately I was working so I had to have some friends drive the vehicle down there and I was so stressed from the situation I forgot to request an invoice from him. Mistake 2
I called him this afternoon to get an update and he said he is over 20 hours into the job and still isn’t done. He’s billing me at $120/hr. He did not contact me WHATSOEVER throughout the week to tell me the job was taking longer than initially expected, it was complete radio silence until I called Friday to ask how it was going. Mistake 3
This is an outright scam and I have no idea if I can do anything about it, I don’t have the money to pay his quote which he has yet to finalize and give me, considering he still isn't done. No mechanic on earth could take 20+ hours to put in the parts I had, they were all pre-built and the only thing left was installation into the dashboard and floor. Just a steering wheel and a pulley to connect to the factory wheel, and some floor pedals.
It would have been cheaper to drive the car to Tennessee (5,000 mile round trip) and have pedal pros install it themselves. Had I known it would have been this astronomically expensive in labor I would have never allowed him to touch the car with a 50 foot pole.

I had an accident while driving across Nevada, there was a road block so I tried to go around it and then cut back toward the road, but not knowing (because there was no signage) that there was uneven terrain, my front tires fell through some loose surface and slide my truck sideways into some rocks. Luckily it was just a small wreck but right now I am stuck here:

If you look at the link above you'll see that it's on Ruby Crest ranch, I'm not actually on Ruby Crest ranch, but below it on this map about 2 inches or so. I've been here for almost 2 hours now.
I immediately followed company procedure and called it in. However, my boss told me due to the time of day, there would be no one to come and get me or the truck. I asked what about the me being stuck, and he told me he would call me back "in a minute". So, 20 minutes later I get a call from the guy who usually validates our scheduling who's upper management (and not my boss), and he tells me that they can't get anyone to retrieve the truck there tonight, and to leave it there until morning when they can. I said ok, but asked him what about ME, since I am in the middle of the country side with no vehicle, I can't go anywhere. He told me that they are not able to send someone to get me as well, eventually at the end of the conversation, he said he would see what he could do and hung up. Ever since he has never called or answered his phone again.
So as you can see I am stuck below the Ruby Crest Ranch on that map. What I'm trying to do is get to the nearest truck stop so I can maybe hitch a lift from another driver, or at least stay there for awhile until I can get someone to get me tomorrow morning, however, that's not very plausible to do on foot, and the weather is frigid. To see what I mean, check out the weather in Elko, which is above my position but about 25~ miles north:

And the temperature is dropping. You can see that Elko and it's truck stops are north of my position on the map I linked, however on foot (not driving) that is not a reasonable, or safe possibility, and it's also very cold. Lyft/Uber wants $63.28 to take a ride there which I don't have, so I need help in getting to that truck stop.
I can only conclude my company management is neglectful and lazy, and I'm sure there's multiple ways they could have come and got me (and I'm sure people here know many ways too) but they just decided not to do so for some reason. But sadly, I am not of the body type to be waiting here in this weather for too long to play games with bad management, and it's getting late. If they don't answer, then I have no other contacts (except one co-worker but he's asleep right now and usually has his phone off until he wakes up for the morning shift) so I need a solution sooner than later.
Luckily, being a truck driver, people are always hiring. I can easily quit (and WILL) and switch jobs, which is what I'm going to do (and possibly look into some legal actions, list any recommendations) after this, because I would have no reason to continue working for any company that behaves in this manner, especially one that ignores my calls for a job where I am always at risk breaking down in the middle of nowhere (even my direct boss hasn't answered his phone recently too), and when you have options, there's no reason or excuse to stay. I've never experienced such trash management in my life and I've had bad bosses over the years, nothing like this.
So if there's anything to take from this situation to those who view it, being a truck driver isn't for everyone, but if you do choose to, you can easily leave an abusive company and get a comparable job quickly anytime. That's one of the benefits, and I figured for a sub like this that may be something to think about (outside of just having enough to not work at all, which is preferred). Of course you can also end up stuck like me right now too, you have to take the bad with the good.
However, I still have the issue of needing some ideas or help to get to that truck stop from where I'm stuck at, if anyone has any or can help in some way, I appreciate it.

Starting about a week ago my throat started to feel sore but only on the right side. I’ve had tonsil stones for a while, but they never really bothered me. Maybe once every week maybe two weeks I’ll give them a push and make sure they’re cleaned out, I was really busy with work and parenting every night I just passed out and I honestly didn’t think much of it because my son was really sick with a cold and thought I might’ve just got what he had
it wasn’t until I had the day off (Tuesday) but I took the time to look at the back of my throat and noticed that my right tonsil was extremely swollen, bright red, and had white on it. As always assumed that it was just the normal tonsil stones but I had just forgot them for a while, so I cleaned out the stones on Tuesday night, used my prescribed mouthwash, and gargled saltwater to help with the inflammation. I’ve been gargling salt water every single day and using my prescribed mouthwash every morning I wake up, my tonsils are full of white again and now on my left side my tonsil is completely white, but has no stone inside it just the outside of the tonsil is white, it’s hard for me to get to a clinic I’ve called six places near me all aren’t taking walk-ins. Usually once I clear out my tonsil stones if there bothering me it takes one clean out and gargling salt water for the day and I’m back to normal but it’s been four days and my tonsils are just getting whiter and whiter especially on the left side, which is weird because that tonsil was totally fine. The swelling has gone down on the right, but it still hurts to swallow only on the right side. Another thing to note was on Monday I participated in oral on my male friends with benefits. So maybe it’s an STI? I don’t think that it’s strep because I’ve had strep before I haven’t lost my voice. I don’t have a cough. It’s just my right side where it hurts to swallow but like I said, swelling has gone down, but my tonsils are still super white, even immediately after I clean them use salt, water, and mouthwash they’re still bright white. I should also add before I am this I do smoke cigarettes, nothing else, about five a day as I’m currently trying to quit. Any advice helps. I’m trying to find a walk in clinic for tomorrow, but this whole thing is really stressing me out. Thank you!

We met on an app while I was visiting my hometown at Christmas. I'm in grad school a few hours away, so we initially agreed to meet up for a drink the next time I was in town. We ended up continuing to talk more and more. Around NYE, I had an accident and had surgery. I was in recovery for nearly 2 months (I didn't share any details with him). During that time, we texted often and eventually started talking on the phone. We both told each other we were starting to like each other and were surprised about how well we connected, even though it wasn't in person. We talked about family, past relationships, career, friends, therapy, even plans for marriage/kids (in general, not together). He told me how he has been working in therapy and now feels ready for a longterm relationship.
About a month and a half in, he started taking longer to respond. The longest we went without talking was a few days at first, but became 4-5 days with no reply. He's in finance and works long hours and is in a transition period with work and having a hard time. We'd never met, I believed him when he said he liked me, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. We'd also had a convo about ghosting, to which he told me he never ghosts and always will tell someone straight up he's not interested. He added that he didn't anticipate that happening with us.
After I fully recovered and I could travel, I took a weekend trip home. We met up the first night, and I ended up sleeping over. I've never experienced chemistry like that before - it was sweet and intimate and loving. We also both separately mentioned we had deleted dating apps. I've been back in school now for 2 weeks and we've barely talked. When he does text he's apologetic for taking so long, tells me he's been thinking of me, asks me questions about how I am/how school is, etc.
I can't tell if I'm just being naive. Should I trust his words or is he just slowly ghosting? What should I do? TIA

I work as a speech-language pathologist in an all special ed district. This is my 3rd school year in my district (2nd year in my current program). I have had a crazier year than most of my coworkers because I have ended up changing caseloads several times this school year, including working with medically fragile students (which I had no prior experience doing, and was a nightmare). I'm currently providing makeup sessions to students for various therapists until a coworker goes on maternity leave. I have no private office except a corner of a classroom office, which is too noisy for me to provide therapy in for unfamiliaunknown students, so it is essentially like a locker where I put more bag, and leave it there until I go home. I end up having to borrow coworkers' offices (which is also tough during IEP meeting season now), or push-in to noisy/unfamiliar classrooms.
Today, I was attempting to provide services in a noisy classroom when a student I was seeing for a makeup session (with no prior rapport) kicked me near my ankle, due to being overstimulated by the noise and chaos, and then had to be escorted out of the classroom. I completed an incident report to cover myself (I have full mobility of my ankle, no swelling, just soreness), and went to see my AP for further discussion. My AP (who is retiring in June anyway) asked if I was "happy" with the program, to which I replied I wasn't very happy with the incident report I needed to file. My principal walked in (I assume she and the AP had scheduled time to speak), but when she saw we were talking, she said she would come back "in a few minutes". "A few minutes" essentially turned into 1 minute later, and my principal abruptly decided she would stay in the room until we finished our conversation, and did not say anything to me.
Space is a challenge in my program and district overall, and we are significantly short staffed, so we have had many staff out/quitting due to injuries throughout this school year. My administration is still changing classes for this current school year, and re-arranged a bunch of classrooms mid-year, so there are many people frustrated, in general. One teacher even said administration "apologized" for accepting a new student into the program last month that clearly isn't placed in the appropriate school setting.
My administration and union are aware of the space challenges I have had throughout this entire school year, but have done nothing to improve the situations. I have worked as an SLP for 5 years now, and understand that working with students with moderate-severe disabilities brings about these challenges, but am frustrated that the lack of space is now leading to increased injury/risk also. My administration is very hands off, and in the year and a half I have worked in this program, I have spoken to my principal maybe 2-3x. I'm up for tenure in a year and a half also, so I feel like I can't complain that much, despite essentially feeling like a nomad at work. I also find it very unusual also that my principal would stay in the room and remain silent, while I spoke with my AP about all of this.
We are 3 months away from the end of the school year, but it seems so far away, and I am so done with this school year.
Anyone else struggling to survive the rest of this school year too, and beyond frustrated with their administration...

I'm making a mod for stellaris, I'm trying to find comics that helps me understand how humans fought (or if they did) had to fight threats that came to invade earth. Did they way until the threats landed on earth? Or did humans (or agencies under shield) have some sort of task force that dealt with those types of things.
I've read comics here and there, but no where near up to date (I don't know who or what SWORD is for instance but I hear thats the series I need to look into)
Are there any instances where humans from earth are fighting in space with fleets? Are there any space battles that are super minor that are mentioned in some marvel comics between said humans? Or is it just humans have satelites in space, and basically just launch rockets to satellites and such.
I'm looking for comics that help me fill in these gaps, would appreciate it if anyone could point me in the right direction ^^.
