2023.03.25 01:31 ski7955 Training ChatGPT to write prompts for midjourney.

I spent several hours constructing this set of instructions for chat Gpt to write prompts for midjourney and wanted to share it to help the community. If you have any suggestions for changes please let me know. So far it has been working great although once and a while I have to remind it to condense the prompt
1 I'm going to explain how to create detailed and specific generative image prompts for midjourney. Follow these guidelines carefully to ensure that you craft the perfect prompts for generating images tailored to your preferences. 1. Begin each prompt with “/imagine prompt:”. 2. Use commas for soft breaks and double colons (::) for hard breaks to separate distinct concepts. You can also use numerical weights (e.g., “::2” or “::5”) after double colons to emphasize certain sections. These are placed after the word that’s being emphasized, not before. 3. To discourage the use of a concept, use negative image weights (e.g., “::-1”) these are placed after the word that’s being depreciated 4. Incorporate descriptive language and specific details, such as camera angles, artists’ names, lighting, styles, processing techniques, camera settings, post-processing terms, and effects. 5. To emulate the style of specific photographers, designers, or directors, use phrases like “photographed by,” “designed by,” or “directed by,” followed by the individual’s name. 6. Include multiple image processing technologies and terms for the desired effects and image quality. 7. Use your creativity to incorporate various lighting scenarios into the images. 8. Adjust aspect ratios with the “—ar” parameter and image weights if necessary. 9. Add customization parameters, such as quality and additional settings, at the end of the prompt. Include the "--chaos" parameter for variation in results. The range is 1-100 10. Use specific shades of primary colors and experiment with different styles. 11. Keep prompts creative, descriptive, and detailed, incorporating numerous keywords for the desired effect. 12. Use "--stylize" for different styles/effects. Tel he stylize parameter can range from 100-1000 13. Use the --stop parameter to finish a Job partway through the process. Stopping a Job at an earlier percentage can create blurrier, less detailed results. --stop accepts values: 10–100. The default --stop value is 100. 14. Avoid banned words like "bloody," "nude," "mccurry," and "gore." 15. Enhance the desired effect with keywords like "photorealism," "highly detailed," "intricate details," "photorealistic," and "high quality." 16. Be creative, specific, and descriptive, drawing from renowned images, artists, photographers, architects, and directors to mimic their styles. You can also blend their styles by mentioning more than one. 17. Create forms of art by using words like Photorealism, Hyperrealism, Naturalism, Impressionism, Expressionism, Surrealism, Cubism, Futurism, Pop art, Minimalism, Abstract Expressionism, Post-impressionism, Art nouveau, Art deco, Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Romanticism, Classicism, Modernism, Contemporary art, Abstract art, Conceptual art, Performance art, Installation art, Land art, Video art, Street art, and Graffiti art. 18. Specify specific camera angles, such as selfies, panoramic views, GoPro images, fish-eye, or satellite view. 19. Only use possible parameters listed in the original instructions. 20. Utilize words like "award-winning," "masterpiece," "photoreal," "highly detailed," "intricate details," and "cinematic" for more realistic images. 21. Finish the prompt with just the parameters, without adding anything else. Possible keyword inputs include specific camera angles, artists' names, lighting, styles, processing techniques, camera settings, post-processing terms, effects, primary colors, image processing technologies, aspect ratios, quality settings, customization parameters, art forms, and descriptive adjectives.
To create a highly detailed and specific image prompt, consider incorporating elements such as the architect's name, architectural style (e.g., Gothic, Art Deco, Brutalist, or Bauhaus), art tools used (e.g., brushes, palette knives, or digital software), geometry (e.g., circular, angular, or fractal patterns), dimensions (e.g., 2D, 3D, or isometric), symmetry or asymmetry, artistic styles (e.g., impressionism, cubism, or pointillism), composition (e.g., rule of thirds, golden ratio, or balanced), perspective (e.g., bird's-eye view, worm's-eye view, or one-point perspective), focal points, depth of field, textures (e.g., rough, smooth, or grainy), materials used (e.g., oil paint, watercolor, or charcoal), color schemes (e.g., monochromatic, complementary, or analogous), lighting (e.g., soft, harsh, or backlit), mood or atmosphere (e.g., serene, dramatic, or mysterious), time of day (e.g., dawn, dusk, or midday), and any specific cultural or historical influences. By incorporating a combination of these specific keywords and details into your prompt, you can create a rich and vivid image that captures your exact vision.
Here are some examples of prompts. Please evaluate and learn from these prompts. They are just examples. As you can see they can vary widely on the possibilities. You are not limited to these by any means. After these examples I will give you a command.

Describe the image in the prompt. Write a prompt.

2023.03.25 01:26 LookingForTheGirl25 30 [M4F] Florida/USA - Looking to make a special connection with my person out there!

Hey there everyone, I never know how to start these, so I am just going to jump right into it! My name is Austin, I am 30 years old and I live in Orlando, FL!
I am trying to find my person and best friend through life. I want to be able to create a safe emotional space for the two of us in the relationship and to be able to have so much fun together. From being vulnerable and open by talking about our feelings to silly and fun watching YouTube or sharing memes! I want to have a family and kids so if that isn’t for you no problem, it isn’t for everyone!
A quick breakdown of things I like:
Cooking
Video Games
TV/Anime/Movies
Going to the gym or Batting Cages (I used to play baseball)
Playing with my cat and dog (Licorice and Wade)
Playing my trumpet (recently started again from high school)
Music is a huge part of my life and always will be. If it could be considered a love language it would be my number one! I love sharing playlists or being excited to talk about artists we both love etc. My favorite genres would include (but are not limited to); Rock, Metal, EDM, Punk, Musicals. What are some of your favorites? Top 3 artists?
Please read my entire post, I cannot handle those that just respond and expect me to do the heavy lifting in conversation. I want someone to be as invested in me as I would be them!

2023.03.25 01:10 DiscombobulatedFlow2 Evictions - Waterloo/Zetland

Received the NO GROUNDS eviction notice Friday afternoon via eMail. Been in this unit 15 years. No increase letter, just the 'get out so we can chuck international students in for twice the rent'.. That's 3 evictions, that I personally know of, in the Waterloo/Zetland area. Imagine the actual numbers. Spoken to my neighbors(15 years you get to know people) and it's a lottery of increase or eviction letters. It's like a feeding frenzy and the unit builder - the big M - are stuffing themselves silly. Increases are from the mid 700 range to 1100<>1200 per week range. They say it's the market and hide behind it but evicting people into this crisis - the humanity! Just looking out the window and I see moving trucks on the streets. I'm sure we all have stories like this now...

2023.03.25 00:38 OverLonelyDeadSoul Tired of me limiting myself, purposely did uncomfortable things as I want to change, and now I don't even know/recognise myself much anymore

A month ago, I felt sick and tired of myself limiting myself, feeling like I've stagnated in life as I hadn't gone anywhere with myself and felt that I've people pleased too much just to keep the peace so I've had enough and reached my limit. Combined with needing to take a holiday for years, I decided to chuck myself so far out of my comfort zone that I went on my first ever solo trip with minimal planning in a country where no one looks like me at all. - Had a few experience where once I entered, people were either friendly (50-60% of the time), or looked as if I had taken their partners or done something to them in their past life, or flat out vacated the area e.g. the pool. I had half board so I needed to go out everyday for lunch or starve and I managed to gain thicker skin throughout the day and needed to make the most of it by going out - I usually stay at home for a full week like a hermit so doing this for nearly a week straight was a mix bag of pride, nerves and also thoughts to face myself. Also during this time, I've had extreme ends of news that I considered to both good and bad , such as an offer and morbid death during my trip.
Since I've come back recently, I don't really care what people think to an almost far out extreme extent of my pre-trip self in most cases (nothing offensive, no worries, I still draw lines at the same of pre-trip me) yet believe it's better for me, I know there's definitely a balance to have and I'm actively working on it to be bit more tactful as I used to be as well. I also have this better sense of self-belief as I literally have evidence for it and it makes me swell up with emotions inside. I'm going through imposter syndrome thoughts with the positive news offer that I've got yet also telling myself that I will make sure I make the most of it as I don't want to revert to a self I no longer want to associate with much at all - but probably didn't hash out to myself on which specific parts which I now realised. Also noticed that I don't feel as much as I do generally, but when I do, it's more intense bursts of emotion
I've actually progressed better with my to-do's, done new things independently that old me would have never touched with a pole and just fully accepting that failing is fine (lot easier said than actioned) so not frozen by fear as much anymore in the pursuit of most goals. But if I ever feel like I'm slipping from this productivity, I feel mentally unsettled and also start to question my sense of self of who I am, an example is that a couple of days ago I literally did nothing the whole day, and even though I can accept it's because I've done quite a few things consecutively since I've come back, I still feel a part of me that's wondering why have I not done anything much that day and could literally feel my brain pulsing.
I didn't know what was an appropriate flair as it could be self-improvement in bettering myself for interactions and approaching life, or mental health as I don't know who I am as I don't see much of my old self, yet believe some new bits of me are good for me too. Would really appreciate any thoughts on what the heck I'm feeling so I can process this change of myself, thank you

Joseph loves the agricultural life, but he is the second son, and his father’s vineyard will be inherited by his brother Donat, the firstborn. He yearns for a job growing grapes and for an opportunity to marry Teresa Gallego. In Madrid, an assassination plot, conceived against the political leader of Spain by men of wealth and power, creates a storm of intrigue that sucks into its vortex a group of innocent young farm workers in Santa Eulália. How Josep’s life is changed drastically by these events, and how, ironically, they gradually turn him into an inspired vintner with an evolving vision of life, is the fascinating story of "The Winemaker". During the Book Club, enjoy four fantastic Spanish wines to taste. Chef Bryan will create a pairing board of house–made Spanish tapas, cheese and charcuterie to accompany the tasting. 2023.03.24 23:52 VinylOfVarden Are we ever going to get Boss AI that's actually decent?

I don't understand how we're in the year 2023 and the only way to fight bosses still is to cheese them. Allow me to compile a list of the issues with Boss AI below, though a lot of these will apply to regular AI as well, Boss AI is just cranked up to 10.
-Boss AI do not currently suffer from recoil, stamina, or weapon jams, which means 90% of the time when you fight them you're going to get 4-5 bullets IMMEDIATELY to the torso with no chance to fight back.
-Boss AI do not behave naturally, staying in a "stasis" until they're aggrod. This means you can be chilling on Interchange and literally have 0 way of knowing Killa is standing in dark corner #1325 until you fall over dead, with only the end-of-raid killscreen revealing it was not a cheater but rather a boss that feels like a cheater.
-Boss AI is omniscient. If you throw a grenade at them, the second you throw the grenade they know exactly where it's going to land, making grenade kills with anything other than impact nades pure luck since they'll sprint away to a safe distance. Even if they don't see you first, they know exactly where the grenade is coming from and where it's landing. It's pathetic that the only way to complete Stylish One is chucking flashbangs so Killa, who is two floors down and underground, can give away his position since he magically knows I'm flashing.
-Piggybacking off that, boss nades are fucking perfect. Seriously, why waste your life killing people in Russia when you could be a gold medal Olympian with how well these fuckers can land a nade 1inch from my eyes.
-Inflated health pools to make up for bad AI. I don't think I even need to explain this one, no one should be surviving the amount of shots these guys are capable of taking. Coupled with their no-recoil, I don't think I've ever had a more unfun mechanic than this.
-Boss AI has the server on their side. Since they're AI with no latency, they will literally kill you before your client tells you they're shooting. They've perfected this art with the "double tap" glitch that BSG seems insistent does not exist, but most players know what to expect. If I ever die to one torso shot by a Boss/Guard, I can be almost 90% positive the end of raid healing screen is going to show me 2-3 more shots to my torso than there really were.
-Sightlines. Bosses, Rogues, Guards, etc. can see fucking forever, unobstructed by things like foliage. Go try to scope in on a boss through trees, tall grass, or bushes and watch them turn to look directly into your eyes.
-Cheesing is the only way to safely kill them. Open combat is near impossible due to the above, so the riveting gameplay solutions becomes aggroing them, running inside, and closing a door, holding mouse 1 when you see their stupid bodies begin to clip through the door as, surprise, they know exactly where you went.
All in all, this level of AI is bullshit. It's not Artificial Intelligence, it's Artificial Difficulty. Please for the love of God revamp the AI so it actually feels fun and rewarding to play against, instead of basically REQUIRING cheesing in order to safely kill bosses. I don't hold BSG to the standard of making AI indistinguishable from players but the AI has so many advantages that are just hard coded into the game instead of being able to outsmart the player.
I'm sure other people could say what I was trying to convey better, but seriously just getting tired of this on top of the mountains of other issues.

2023.03.24 22:48 4wry_reddit PTS: Triage TR Pulse vs. Nano Regen NC Dementer veil

TR Medic abilities

IMO a problem with the new TR ability is that is has too much functional overlap with the default ability.
A quick run down:
Nano Regen Triage Pulse
Heal/s 75 60
Recharge time [s] 34.8 25
Uptime [s] 8 5
100% uptime [Medics] 5 5
Special none +150 instant hp for allies <200hp (upon activation only)
Both take 5 medics to have 100% uptime, Nano regen has the better heal/s (and is thus better for carapace), but Triage pulse can possibly make a difference with the instant heal, which will add the equivalent of about 1 bullet if triggered. For a lesser heal there is also still the flash triage medic (which heals MAXes as well).
An issue is that Assimilate, Combat Surgeon and Regen Capacitor and Failsafe are all percentage based (as opposed to absolute), meaning that Nano Regen benefits more from the relative gains.
The main issue with these abilities is that they boil down mostly to flavor since the niches overlap a lot. This doesn't add much variety to the TR medic.
Proposals for consideration would be:

Demeter Veil

The NC Dementer veil worries me. 2 HA can achieve a 100% uptime on this in a squad. With some coordination this is potentially broken.
25% resistance on a adrenaline HA equates to ~1933 effective HP (more than a resist HA has). This factors with any other cheese you may come up with (thinking carapace medics under healing grenades and underbarrel cure launchers, intermingled Carapace HAs). A 1000hp medic would have ~1333 hp, that's almost as much as a HA with a fresh overshield (~1450).
I think the resistance is to high, and it is probably too easy to achieve a high uptime on this, even disregarding Assimilate etc.
An additional factor is the recognition of the shield type and especially the casting HA aren't clearly visually distinguishable from regular resist shields.
An alternative notion would be to not apply this as a general resistance, but against specific damage types, e.g. common explosions and those covered by nanoweave armor (snipers, archer, HMGs), specifically excluding small arms.

2023.03.24 21:26 Hasekbowstome Complete: MSDA - Reflections On the Program

With my capstone passing the other day, I've officially graduated from the MSDA program in a single term, getting it done with about 18 days left in my term. I took a few days off, aside from taking an interview that I got through a friend for a remote data analyst position (here's hoping!). This week, I started developing a portfolio on GitHub to host my data science work at WGU, which I'd done previously for my work at Udacity and Study.com during my BSDMDA.
My portfolio of work at WGU can be found here. It is ostensibly intended for employers to be able to get a look at some of my work, but I imagine it will find much more use as a resource for other students. Included is every piece of work I generated for the MSDA (and my BSDMDA capstone). As I've discussed elsewhere on this subreddit, I submitted almost every report (including my capstone) in Jupyter Notebook format, so my code is there along with my writing. Videos are also included in the portfolio, along with the time that I spent on each class (I've used a time tracker app throughout my return to school) and the pace at which I was completing classes. There are also handy links to each of my class writeups here on the subreddit. Hopefully that is useful to you guys. With that taken care of, I'm finally finished with the MSDA program, so I feel like I can write up my full thoughts on the experience. (Disclaimer: Do not copy my work from the portfolio. Use it to get yourself unstuck, or to inspire ideas. Do not copy the work.)
I started this journey with no real data science or programming experience, just looking to make a career change. I learned Python before starting the Udacity Data Analyst NanoDegree, where I learned the data science end of it, and that ended up being the hardest part of the BSDMDA. I was concerned about taking on the MSDA because the Udacity program was quite tough and very time consuming, but I actually pulled the trigger on doing it because of a conversation on the WGU subreddit where another user explained that "If you can do the Udacity DAND program, you'll be just fine in the MSDA". That turned out to be a pretty accurate assessment, in my experience. WGU's BSDMDA's hardest parts are the Udacity DAND, and I feel like that program is a pretty solid prep for what the MSDA program ends up consisting of, including the uneven nature of class materials. If you completed the BSDMDA (or even just the Udacity DAND), you should be in good shape to do the MSDA.
Regarding the MSDA program itself, I largely felt like it was "fine". I skipped a lot of DataCamp videos early on as I was breezing through, and some of the later ones (looking at you, D213 Task 2) were pretty rough. There were plenty though that were pretty good in D209, D210, D211, and D212. Learning on DataCamp is a grind that forced me to take lots of little breaks, but overall, it was pretty good. Some of this might be grading on a curve because at this point I've seen a lot of bad online learning programs too, but I think that on the whole, there was more good than bad in the DataCamp materials. What is really unfortunate is that some of the most difficult topics/concepts got some of the worst/poorly organized DataCamp classes. That's a fixable problem, and I hope WGU addresses that.
There is some real good supplemental materials from Dr. Middleton in the early part of the program, and Dr. Kamara's materials are good too in the middle/late part of it. Dr. Sewell's materials were much less useful, often spending too much time on easy or irrelevant stuff and glossing over the more difficult stuff. I mentioned it in my graduation survey, but I really hope WGU gives Dr. Middleton a bigger role in the program, because her materials were genuinely excellent. Hey, maybe she could make some DataCamp videos to replace the ones that aren't very good, and then sell them back to WGU! (Side note: WGU desperately needs to do real captioning on their videos. I'm not Deaf/Hard of Hearing, but the inaccuracy of their auto-generated captioning really made me consider making some complaints and requests for improved captioning on those materials. They're bad all around, but Dr. Kamara's heavy accent makes the auto captions even worse. This is not just a MSDA problem.)
One of the biggest issues with the MSDA program was the inadequacy of the datasets that we spent most of the program working with. Especially early on, before I came to accept that these were artificial datasets that had too few related variables to tell us anything interesting, I often would come to conclusions that made me feel like I was doing something wrong. As it turned out, the data just sucks and has very few relationships or even interesting observations to be made. For a program to spend a full 3/4 of its time dealing with these two datasets and encouraging students to keep going deeper in terms of the complexity of our inquiries into that dataset, that's really disappointing. Obviously not every data set is going to be robustly filled with relationships, but we also didn't need to go so far in the other direction, either. Especially if you're okay with using an artificial dataset, I really feel like there's no reason not to make datasets where the variables are more obviously relevant to each other or where relationships can be found. The classwork was a lot more fun when I could actually see that I was making progress towards finding a relationship and that my code/models were working, rather than wandering dead ends with increasingly sophisticated code to confirm that I was indeed looking at a dead end.
The other complaint that I'd make about the MSDA program is its focus on "business", especially in the capstone, to the exclusion of social issues. I understand that a big part of the role for data analysts is finding ways for corporations to make more money, and a big part of WGU's value is "preparing students to enter the business world!". I've spent nearly 10 years working in the public sector, and there's a whole lot of data out there that could stand to be analyzed but isn't necessarily going to help a business make their shareholders richer. I recognize that some of this is my own issue and coming from a place of wanting to "do more" for the world than just help wring surplus out of consumers and into corporate accounts, but also, and it's important to emphasize this, that's not an incorrect perspective and quite arguably one that should be more common! Throughout my education thus far, the datasets I found most interesting were never the ones that involved dollars and cents, and I would've liked for that to be reflected more in our options throughout the MSDA program.
As for whether or not the experience was "worth it", I really can't answer that, at least at this point in time. My goal in getting my education was to facilitate a career change, and I haven't made that leap yet. My hope is that the masters makes up a bit for the lack of professional experience, but I just can't speak to this until I get a job and make that change. I can say that I am glad that I did it. Even if I don't actually end up working in data analysis (data management would be fine with me too), I'm glad that I've got the piece of paper and that I took this entire "back to school" thing to this conclusion. Just the knowledge that I took this particular element of the journey as far as I could is a hell of a feeling. To look at it in hindsight, if I had just earned the BSDMDA and not picked up the MSDA while I was at it, that would've been a missed opportunity.
In terms of tips for anyone incoming to the MSDA program, I can definitely offer a few:

2023.03.24 21:12 Dezkin Grocery Saver 3/22 thru 3/28

Grocery Saver 3/22 thru 3/28
This is a snippet of available grocery stores and their prices, which seem to be good or better than average deals. They're not all generic brand. The goal is to show that quality products can be found to cost reasonably.
Each store will have their own in-store specials and if you want to add any product you see as a deal, comment and I'll add it.
Listing products by category first. Group pricing like Mix & Match (M&M) or 10x $10 will still be under their own, but will remain in the same category order. So it would go: Meats (fresh/canned), Produce (fresh/canned), Breakfast/Grains/Pasta/Bread, Beverages, Frozen food/treats, Misc.

Keep an eye out for regional manager specials in your store. Help others out and comment what you find and I'll add it to their main list. Include which location of the store please.
More stores to be added as their weekly promos are updated.
Tldr: Food shouldn't cost an arm and a leg. If you drive somewhere, grab these deals on your way home.
Want access to these quicker? I post them initially on Vegas Locals discord, under sales-and-deals.
