-Update the fighting mechanics they've been teasing at for a while. -Add options in world creation to turn on/off sanctuaries. Option 1 world default is pvp with owneoperator able to set 100 x 100 sanctuaries with special banner placements. Option 2 is like 1, but sanc's also apply adventure mode while inside (so unable to grief builds). Option 3 world is default pvp with no option for sanc's. Option 4+ are covered by existing modes. -Add ability for players to claim a 100 x 100 plot as your base with a sepcial banner (default size, size editable in world creation options). A player can claim only one zone. Owneoperator can set pvp rules inside these zones. Such as sanc/pvp only(no grief builds), full pvp(salt the earth). Players cannot claim an area if it overlaps an existing claim. To claim a new area, the player will first need to not hold any claims. -Add clans. Clan members cannot damage each other unless in a free for all arena zones (set by owneoperator). A clan's base zone will expand depending on number of players in the clan, and available unclaimed territory. Free for all arena zones set by owneoperator with banners. Players in a clan cannot hold a separate personal claim (you are either all in, or not in at all). -Map updates. You can toggle your map visibility to others on/off. The only area where you are visible at all times is if you are inside another player's/clan's zone. -Pillageillagevillager options. Ability to increase their damage and if villagers will fight back -Gear. Take some inspiration from minecraft dungeons with (a few) artifacts, new weapons, new armor types. I really enjoyed the different play styles (tank/melee, ranged, pet build, soul build, lightning build, speed, healer, etc.). If not new items, new secondary enchants could accomplish the same thing, with max # per item.

For context this is my 5th day with my new axolotl. Tank parameters are all perfect. His tank sits around 65/66 Fahrenheit. For the first 3 days he ate large Canadian nightcrawlers with no problem. I'm not sure what they said they fed him in the pet store but the guy I bought him from said they didn't feed him nightcrawlers before. His behavior hasn't changed and he still happily swims and floats around and explores his tank. Yesterday when I tried to feed him a worm (cut into head sized pieces) he nibbled at it and wouldn't put it in his mouth. I tried for 10 minutes and he just ignored it. Today I tried blanching the worms for him incase he doesn't like the feeling of the live worm in his tummy or the gross slime on the nightcrawlers. He put a piece in his mouth for a few seconds but then spit it out and continued to be uninterested in the worms afterwards. I have left two worm pieces on his hammock where he can easily see and find them so I can hoping I will come back sometime and see that the worms have been eaten. I am not sure if he hates the nightcrawlers, is stressed from still settling into his new home etc. I am getting really worried about him though because I thought after not eating yesterday he would be very hungry. I am not sure how to get him to eat his worms again and I am a first time axolotl mom who never foresaw feeding being a problem because everything I read about axolotls says they are gluttonous.

Tomatoes, unable to be reasoned with, unable to be stopped, unable to hold back their relentless bloodlust. It took a group of specialists put together by the president to discover their one weakness, using it to negate the fruit threat. Ten years of peace passed, aided by the U.S. Congress outlawing tomatoes, and the new generation grew up unknowing of the menace once posed. This was until Professor Gangreen found a way to transform tomatoes into personal soldiers, planning on reminding the world of why they once feared them as he became its ruler.

[You twist around to look at the researcher, side-eyeing him to Hell and back]

[She ponders for a moment but you can see she isn’t buying it. Thus, you make your own suggestion]

[N] “Crow!”
[C] “...Offering to be extra firepower in the fight against The End. Hm… Practical. I like that. But what’s to stop you from hurting other people if you have a tantrum?”

[C] “Me?”

I have a 265 gallon tank that will be ready to set up soon, so I'm trying to plan ahead with what I should stock it with. It will have a Fluval FX6 canister filter, which should be more than adequate for a tank this size.
I currently have an Armored Pleco, about 8 inches in length and 5 Pictus Catfish, all about 4 to 6 inches. The Pleco can potentially reach 24 inches, so I'll need to keep that in mind. I love catfish! It would be awesome to have an all cat tank, but im open to all suggestions! There is one catfish that I currently covet, but I don't know if it will be a good fit: the Shovelnose catfish! There is some mixed information about how large they get, some say they max out at 24 inches, some say they can get above 3 feet. Any chance the Pictus catfish would be big enough to not get eaten? Would 265 gallons even be large enough to keep one happy?

First I will start with the good: After playing the new maps for over 10 matches EACH, as both a Commander, an SL, and as regular infantry, I have to say I LOVE both the new maps, they're beautiful, they play well and they play very differently from all the other maps in the game! El Alamein needs good MGs, Snipers, Tankers and AT gun crews to work, and the whole team needs to be coordinated and have a good grasp of map control to win! Driel I like just a bit less, as it feels a bit cheap to cross the water anywhere I want, but I guess that's better than Remagen... A system of pontoon bridges on one side and shallow water and island crossing on the other would be better I think, instead of being able to cross the river under the bridge where no one is looking! Also, some open houses with second-floor windows would be nice for Driel! Both maps do need some optimization, as they stutter a lot, and drop FPS in some locations and sight lines, but that will probably get fixed in a patch.
Now for the bad: Both the British and the Germans need at least 1 set of FREE desert uniforms! Anything else, you monetize, I don't care, so long as there's a single desert option like there's a winter one!
As for the gameplay itself, these are all possible options to balance the Brits (and Soviets) out and fix the other U14 issues (From a +1000h HLL Vet):

• You need to improve the sight design and strafe behavior of ALL British weapons to match other factions! Lower the flip-up ladder on the Lewis and just give it a V-notch, make the aperture and front post on Sten slimmer, also, slim down the Bren aperture a bit maybe? Lee Enfield No.4 has perfect sights, don't touch them!
• Give all Brits the Lee Enfield No.4 as the starting weapon, P14 should be optional or removed except for snipers! No.4 has absolutely GREAT sights and 10 round mag! Give them a Semi-Auto pistol (like the Browning Hi-Power) for MG and tanker classes, like you did for the Soviets, the Germans have 2 semi-auto options. Also, give them more Sten, less Lanchester! It should stay in for variety, but it shouldn't be the Brit's main SMG
• Give L-E rifles a RAPID bolt cycle rate like IRL (They don't have a semi-auto rifle like the Germans) and increase the range of all rifles from 200m 1HK to 250 or 300m 1HK, this will help a lot of people not feel cheated out of kills when they hit a target 201m away on the new very open, long sight line maps. Currently, if you hit someone with a bolt action once, they quickly zig-zag to cover, use a bandage and then continue on their merry way, zigzagging again making it impossible to hit them even once, let alone twice!
• Add a bipod to Bren and increase 1-Hit-Kill to 200m (or just 150 because you can aim it without a bipod deployed?) like rifles and other MGs, it fires a full-size caliber like them. Also, do this to FG42 (this will actually give us a reason to use an FG42 instead of the STG, as currently, it is inferior in every way: Sights, Recoil, Mag Size, Ammo carried) and BAR, but not STG44, it should stay 100m 1HK as it fires a much smaller caliber than Rifles, LMGs, and Auto Rifles! I, personally, would also love to see German MG get the option of an FG42 loadout, like the US has the BAR, but that's just me!
• Give the default Brits' ASSAULT loadout a DRUM mag Thompson, and a Sten for the Saboteur ASSAULT loadout, the Bren makes no sense with the Satchel! It's a very heavy, very wrong gun to run up to a tank with or storm an enemy compound and blow it up! The Bren should be an option for the AUTOMATIC RIFLEMAN and the MG, we don't need up to 3 Brens per 6-man Squad! This should also be done with the STG44 loadout for Germans, a satchel + most versatile gun in the game + grenade + 2 smokes makes no sense! Give German ASSAULT with a satchel the FG42, and move the STG44 to the other loadout!
• Add the Universal Bren Carrier for the British instead of the M2 halftrack, yes it has less troop capacity than the other ones, but no, that will not be a problem as nobody uses them as troop transports! Also, giving us a single halftrack instead of (or with) the standard transport truck @ one of the HQs at the start of each game would be really great, helping both teams establish a presence at the front immediately, if they use it correctly! Maybe even a jeep at one HQ at the start of the game, for the commander to use! They don't need to respawn like all the other starting vehicles, just let us use them at the start of each game, even if we have to spawn them in ourselves!
• Remove STG44 and FG42 (maybe even replace the G43 with a slower, 2x clip-reloading G41?) from maps that shouldn't have them! (El Alamein, Kharkov, Kursk, Stalingrad), especially as the Soviets & Brits have no equivalent (except for the SVT-40 on the Soviet side)!
• Give MG42 (and MG34) a realistic DRUM mag size of 50 (or 75 double drum for MG34) rounds instead of 250, as you did to the DP27 and Lewis, just 47 rounds in the PAN mag. Yes, Lewis also had a 97-round mag... This will have the added benefit of making the MG34 PART OF THE META, and not just an inferior MG 42 in every way, as it will use up that little drum of ammo much slower! MG mains (me) WILL complain, fuck, I will be really sad too, but it has to be done! The current system makes ZERO sense, realism for the bad LMGs, fantasy for the MG42? Also, a more realistic amount of ammo carried (6 drums of 50 instead of 250) by MG players would necessitate actually coordinating with the squads' Support or Riflemen for ammo more often, which is ALWAYS a good thing!
• The MG role could also choose between a drum fed and belt fed loadout, and if the belt fed is chosen, he could not hip fire the MG on the move, he would have to stop, drop a box of belt ammo, deploy the bipod, load in a belt and then AND ONLY THEN be able to fire! That way MGs on Omaha retain their 250 round belts without it being overpowered! If he wants to move position, he has to take out the belt, remove the bipod, pickup the belt ammo box and then he can move off to another spot! The British could get the Vickers K for this, the Soviets maybe the DShK or the Maxim?

Ok, now for the MOVEMENT:
A soldier who passed basic training could easily run MUCH FASTER than the current in-game speed (or than the average speed of a top marathon runner at the time), even with essential combat gear (which was not that much, between 15-25lbs or 7-11kg), for 100-500m, or in other words: 1/420th (NICE!) to 1/84th of a marathon-length, which is 42km! ALL HLL maps are just 2x1km!
Could he ADS so fast coming out of that run? NO! Would his aim sway a lot before he would catch his breath? YES! Could he change direction or "zigzag" with ZERO loss of speed? NO! Could he start and stop a sprint instantly, on the spot? NO! Could he dolphin dive and get back up to start running again instantly? NO! Could he maintain that speed up an almost vertical hill? NO! (Example)
These are all problems that need addressing (even if the old run comes back!), but the speed at which we run in the game is neither unrealistic, nor a major problem for gameplay if all these other problems are solved! Maybe the tanks should get a 10% boost too, I'm not sure about that, I don't tank enough to have an educated opinion on it, so I would love a tankers input!
I like that we are finally able to run and dive to cover, it feels like my soldier ACTUALLY CARES FOR HIS LIFE NOW AND IS SCARED OF BEING SHOT (That's why I will defend both the new speed and the dive to prone to death!), but you shouldn't be able to chain these moves to glide across the ground! I wouldn't be opposed to lowering the speed just a bit, back to 110% of what it was (or the new speed could work just for the first 100-200m after which the old one kicks in, and you have to stop and wait or walk before your quick sprint recharges, encouraging moving tactically, cover to cover and then checking the surroundings and planning the next move), but the old speed should definitely not come back!

Hi all. So I’ve been knitting for a few years but have always gravitated toward chunky yarn and large needles because of how forgiving they are. I’ve decided to leave my comfort zone and embark on a tank top pattern using fingering weight, linen yarn with no stretch and size 3 needles. It’s proving it be way more challenging that I thought. I’m finding that the stitches on my left needle are getting insanely tights, I’m randomly dropping stitches, and it all just feels very out of control. I’m not trying to rush this process, and I know I’m basically like a newborn baby deer trying to walk, but I need help! Has anyone been through a similar experience who could give me some tips or point me to some good YouTube videos to help me get my technique down? Thank you!

Experiment 387: New Earth Tank

Introduction
Experiment 387 from Outlier is the New Earth Tank, a heavyweight tank top made from a sustainable cotton rib with a clean look and a snug fit. Outlier provided me this product in exchange for an honest review, and they were kind enough to send me two sizes to compare. I’m 5’7”, 135lb. and I’m wearing a size medium in Black.

Fabric
The New Earth Tank is knit entirely from New Earth Rib, a thick and luxurious cotton with incredible horizontal stretch. It has high durability and high breathability that is hard to come by in a natural material. At 325gsm this is an incredibly heavy cotton. Its robustness is showcased in how the fabric forms steady horizontal rolls.

Treated with a mercerization process and biopolished, New Earth Rib is hardly recognizable as cotton when it’s new. It’s soft with wonderful strength, stretch, and breathability. The rib pattern is different from the New Earth Cotton Jersey that we have seen in other Outlier tops. In addition to being heavier, New Earth Rib stretches differently. The rib pattern allows for slight vertical movement but it shines with its incredible horizontal stretch. The stretch of the fabric helps it cling to your frame without being overly constrictive.

Sizing
I’m typically between sizes for tops, fitting a small or a medium depending on the cut. I’m grateful to the folks at Outlier for sending me this review piece in both of my usual sizes so that I can compare the two. The size small fit my torso, but it was too tight for my shoulders and it cut into the meat below my arm. The small fits my girlfriend much better than it fit me, and she is pleased with the cut.
The medium is a more comfortable size for me in the New Earth Tank with space for my shoulders and chest. You can feel the constriction of the torso each time you inhale. There is some tightness on my lats when I move my shoulder blades, but the cotton ribbing is soft enough that it hasn’t been a big issue for me and I retain my full range of motion in this size. Everyone has a different body, but I would encourage most people to size up at least once for a more comfortable fit.

Washing
Machine washing these shirts both tightened them up and reduced their vertical stretch. Before washing, my size medium measured 16” horizontally and 26” vertically. Size small measured 15” horizontally and 25.5” vertically. I washed them on warm and tumble dried on low, and both sizes shrank by approximately 1” horizontally and 1.5” vertically. Additionally, the shoulder openings on both tank tops shrank by about an inch of vertical space.
The size of the shoulder openings post-wash is my only main disappointment with this piece. I’m hopeful that they will stretch out with wear, but I once again recommend sizing up on this piece for comfort, especially if you have broad shoulders or large lats. While medium works for me, my preference would be for slightly more space for my arms.
No matter your size, the New Earth Tank will cling to your body. This top compresses your torso and embraces you tightly. The fabric relaxes slightly after the first few days of wear but it tightens back up after a wash. The smaller you size with this piece, the more compression you will experience. To some people this tightness may be uncomfortable, but I find it to be comforting.

Fit
Wearing the New Earth Tank is a juxtaposition of strength and exposure. This is another piece in Outlier’s unofficial “clothing like armor” selection. Fans of fabrics like hard/co and duckcloth will enjoy how strong this fabric feels. However, unlike many other Outlier pieces the New Earth Tank clearly displays your upper body.
The New Earth Tank fits snugly against your torso, showcasing the curvature of your body. The robust cotton hides the details of your chest, but it won’t keep you modest in a cold breeze. This top hugs you tightly, highlighting your curves and leaving little to the imagination. If you have been riding the wide-and-loose wave that Outlier has been championing, then this might feel like a step in the other direction. However, the New Earth Tank still subscribes to many aspects of that philosophy, namely breathability and freedom of movement.

Performance
Thick cotton isn’t my first choice when considering athletic wear, but the New Earth Tank makes it work. In this tank top cut you have the advantage of your bare armpits to vent heat and cool you down. Additionally, this thicker fabric absorbs your sweat and prevents it from running down your torso. Due to the tightness of it’s fabric, this shirt is excellent for inversions, such as in a down-dog or handstand, and it is a prime choice aerodynamic sports such as acrobatics and cycling. The cotton rib has similar qualities to thick spandex, but vastly more breathable. Thanks to the tank top cut, this shirt avoids absorbing pit stench from both regular wear and workouts. I wore this shirt for a couple of consecutive days and it continued to smell like new, even after some light running, biking, and yoga.
However, while this is a versatile piece, there are better options for strictly exercise. When it comes to intense workouts you want something with more airflow. The fabric has some great natural properties, but the performance shortcomings of this piece are obvious in hot or humid conditions in which you would be better clothed in a lighter material.

Fashion
Where this piece outclasses other exercise tops is in its looks. It looks great in a casual setting, and those who are searching will notice the quality. The shoulder and neck ribbing jut out slightly and lend depth to the overall shape, defining clean borders on the garment’s upper section. Both sides of the torso are joined with durable stitching while the hem is more traditionally styled for easy tucking. The entire piece can also be rotated 180° and worn back-to-front in a high-neck racerback style. It’s a clean and slick look that shows off your body.
New Earth Tank (backwards, unwashed), Duckworks, Feit Slippers
While Outlier is known primarily for menswear, they have released many items that are designed for all bodies. This is a great unisex piece that works well for most athletic and slim builds. The Rib Tank’s tight fit and ample stretch make for a great women’s top, and it has earned Mira’s seal of approval in that regard.

Closing
This is a luxury tank top that is imbued with the unique magic that fans of Outlier know and love. Made from sustainable material, thoughtfully presented and built to last, this piece has it all. The New Earth Tank is allied with Outlier’s loose clothing by encouraging movement in all environments. This is a tank top that doesn’t feel out of place anywhere, and it makes you feel calm and secure when you are wrapped up in it’s embrace. The New Earth Tank is a rejection of mono-purpose clothing, of environmentally damaging consumerism, and of poorly designed clothing. If you can justify the price tag then you won’t be disappointed with how this piece looks, feels, and performs.

Hey all! is a guild/raid on Wyrmrest Accord, currently recruiting for Aberrus. Formed shortly before the start of Warlords of Draenor, we're looking for a few more players to round out our roster. We got AotC last tier, and will do the same in Aberrus, but have no plans to do mythic raiding.
We are cross-realm and cross-faction friendly. You do not need to join Morally Grey to raid with us, (even though we'd like that). You just need to abide by our rules and join our Discord! Just want to do Mythic+ dungeons with us? That’s fine, too.
We want to progress through content while also being a part of a tight-knit team. We want to foster a friendly, focused, and driven environment while creating lasting friendships that span the boundaries of just one game. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly group.
Raid Schedule >> Wednesday/Sunday, 9pm EST to 12am EST
Role Openings >> We currently have openings for healers and DPS!
Content Focus >> Heroic Raiding/AOTC and M+
What We’re Looking For >> We’re looking for raiders who are great at their class and not standing in fire. We strive to be a fun environment, but one that promotes playing the game well. Have a positive attitude. Whether a new raider or veteran, if you are willing to learn and improve, you're welcome!
We're recruiting all DPS, but have a particular need for a warlock, a DPS monk, and a DPS demon hunter. We'd also consider an exceptional tank applicant, especially if they're a monk or demon hunter, as one of our current tanks likes to DPS, but our standards for tank recruitment would be higher.
We'll also consider healer applicants, but you'd likely be DPSing on many fights, since our current raid size hovers around the point where we 3-heal some fights and 4-heal others.

But hence you found me in my area of comfort, welcome to my humble abode. Would you like some tea? Maybe you fancy some Earl Grey.
Anyway anyway I'm starting to babble lol, if you're wondering what I'm here for, it's for talking to you, interesting person out there wherever may you be. Meeting new people and all it brings is something I love. Making friends this way is amazing so therefore I presented myself!
If details are something you're into hearing, i can give you lots:
-I have to refuel every day almost cuz I go through an entire tank in 2 days or less. Love driving around. (Had to get new shoes and take up running to reduce expenses)
-I'm a car mechanic, also a construction worker, carpenter and if patience blesses me on that day; a painter.
-What am I saving up for? Well it's big, pretty massive in fact. So massive i could write an entire letter about it... Huh... Would it be cheeky if I said you can ask about this in your message? Would be a good idea.
-Had to start running everywhere for transport which is fun, I also do cycling, practice jumps and tricks at the bike park and do motorcycle and karting races. (Other categories and car racing are a work in progress, will upgrade soon)
-Music taste: this is the part where you look at a bunch of hyperbabble about bands that don't make a lot of sense unless you heard them, but I'll just throw a buncha names and you can see if any of the following applies: Radiohead, Megadeth, Fishmans, Marillion, The Black Keys, Queens of The Stone Age, Buckethead, Alphaville, Dire Straits, Little River Band, David Bowie, XTC, UB40, Commodores, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Cure.
-Ultramegahyper car and motorcycles fan, but in the weirdest way possible. My dream cars are actually cheap french hot hatches like the 306 and a 90's Renault Clio. The car I'd get first no matter what is a 1998 Ford Focus. If possible the RS version. And as for motorcycles I want a Kawasaki ZXR, 80's style. Also love German cars, especially old BMW's, first one I'd get is an e32 with the M70 V12 engine. Also love old Volkswagens and Audis, without a doubt would own an 80's Audi with one of their 5 cylinder engines and turbocharge it. Also very fond of japanese cars and will own a Nissan in any form possible, especially the 350z
-Played almost every Need For Speed game that ever released, started my journey with the franchise through Underground, and played every release as they launched. (yes even Undercover, I actually enjoyed it). I listen to the soundtracks of old NFS games in my free time. Also played Midnight Club, Forza, Assetto Corsa, FlatOut, Burnout, BeamNG... I COULD KEEP GOING.
-Not everything in my life is about cars though, my day is dedicated to music too, especially playing piano. I'm also a guitar and bass player. And really want to get more sound gear and instruments in the future (Cars and music gear? I'll be broke all the time)
-I'm relatively organized, but living by myself has shown me that being the only person inside the house, I leave stuff around unless somebody visits. But while living with my parents I didn't make any mess anywhere so I'm not an absolute demon.
-Yes, living by myself also requires me to cook and I'm actually an amazing cook. I include lots of seasoning and veggies into the meals, even soy to balance things out and eggs for protein. Learned lots while being independent.
-Fun facts about me to end this: The amount of clothes I have in total is so small that i can wash them all in one washing machine load, the house machine size. I also have 3 different pillows around me at all times cuz I don't like laying on a flat surface. I listen to music even while showering. And I own a dog that requires me to feed her on a daily basis even though I beg her to feed off the sun.
